Ever played Blues for Gilbert?

Hello! If you have ever played my piece Blues for Gilbert, I think you will like this bit of news. I have brought out a new Vibraphone Suite for solo vibraphone, with three movements: Broken Silence (which is available now), Ilmo and Sunbell (these will be available later).

Broken Silence has had great reviews recently. The UK's National Association of Percussion Teachers' latest newsletter stated, "This is a beautiful piece... set to become a classic in the vibraphonist's repertoire." And the December 2002 issue of Percussive Notes reviewed the piece to great acclaim.

I am very pleased to let you know that Broken Silence is available from Steve Weiss Music, PA, and I am honoured to have support from Mike Balter Mallets. The piece will also be available soon for vibes and piano as well as vibes and string quartet. This is just the sort of piece to add a unique twist to a concert and I do hope you enjoy it.
